Hope of the Pokomchí is a non-profit organization dedicated to partnering with the indigenous Mayan Pokomchí people of Guatemala as they endeavor to reach their God-given potential. Motivated by Christ’s love, we labor on roads and trails less traveled, coming alongside them, offering Biblical and health education and infrastructure projects.
Our Purpose:
​Motivated by Christ’s love, we serve the Pokomchí people of Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, helping them move towards their God-given potential.

​This goal is achieved by:
  • Establishing and building relationships of love and trust with needy communities
  • Providing people, ideas, and resources through education and appropriate technology
  • Coming alongside the people in these communities as they work toward their vision for an improved life – mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually”
