What is "Empower Your Life"?

AUBURN, Calif. – Placer Consortium on Homelessness members, on behalf of Auburn 7th Day Adventist Community Services Center, are collecting donations for the Placer Empowering People resource fair on Thursday, October 20, 2016.
This resource fair will be targeted to some of the most vulnerable citizens of our community including those who are low-income, homeless, at-risk of being homeless, uninsured, under insured and including at-risk youth. By having all resources represented under one roof, we can begin to help these individuals become self-sufficient with a more promising future. We appreciate any donations of items such as new packages of socks and underwear for men and women, single rolls of toilet paper, pet supplies, and travel-size hygiene items for attending residents. We are also seeking gently used: men’s jeans, work books, jackets, long underwear, gloves, backpacks and duffle bags. Donations will be collected by event volunteers and delivered to the Auburn SDA Community Services Center. Tax deductible donations may be dropped off at: Auburn 7th Day Adventist Community Services, 12225 Rock Creek Rd., Auburn, CA 95602 Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or The Gathering Inn, 201 Berkeley Ave., Roseville, CA 95678 M-F from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information: email PCPEP@placer.ca.gov.
