Worship With Us
We worship to grow closer to each other and to God. At First Congregational Church of Auburn (UCC), worship connects us to the generations of Christians who have gone before us. We affirm that history as our adventure of worship continues. Central to our worship is the Bible and its many voices that contributed their history, stories, poems, and memories—connecting them, and now us, to God. In the United Church of Christ (UCC), we believe that God did not stop speaking with the Bible, but continues to communicate in the hearts and lives of the faithful. As we open ourselves to God’s voice in our lives, as we add our hearts and stories to the community of faith, we enable God to continue writing Scripture through us. We celebrate worship as an ongoing exploration, open to creativity and innovation, and incorporating our own stories with freshness in music and thought in a way that draws us towards God and each other. We are an Open and Affirming church, offering you an authentic welcome. Come just as you are and feel safe knowing that we share this faith journey with you, from the depth of our shared humanity. FCC Auburn is a community of acceptance, where each person is loved and affirmed as a child of God.
