FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF AUBURN, UCC
Charitable Trust

With $84,000 in community support planned for 2026, FCCA continues to invest in Auburn’s well-being—uplifting families, expanding educational opportunities, and strengthening the social fabric of the region. This expanded commitment reflects the church’s mission to love God, serve others, and build community.

What Is The Charitable Trust?
Founded in 2025, the FCCA Charitable Trust was created to sustain and expand the church’s long-standing tradition of generosity. For many years, FCCA has supported local organizations through its Board of Community Ministries (BOCM), which contributed $14,000 in community gifts in 2025, and continues to provide essential annual support. Together, BOCM and the Charitable Trust enable FCCA to give back at a greater level than ever before, broadening the church’s impact across Auburn and ensuring ongoing support for organizations that strengthen the community through compassion, education, renewal, and inclusion.
The purpose of the Charitable Trust is distinctly different from that of the Board of Community Ministries in the following ways:
-
All recipient organizations must be tax-exempt/501(c)(3)
-
All recipient organizations must be within the Greater Auburn Area
-
Placer High School music and performing arts students was established in homage to our beloved pianist of 25 years, the Jane Roach Memorial Scholarship for Charitable Trust’s yearly gifts
